My little cousin Victoria recently wrote an essay on the state of the environment. The essay won her a spot as 1 of 22 students selected nationwide to attend an environmental summit next month in Washington D.C. This honor also got her featured on the local news. PS Victoria had also recently took 5th place at the DTASC Drama Festival. This particular competition included entries from 70 schools and her winning submission was a recreation of a set from Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. Here is a picture she sent me of her winning piece!
